What we are looking for...

In a world with mortgages and bills to be paid where does art find its way in?
We would like to show the art of all the local and midwest artists balancing work in the "real world" and art.
Please tell us your story... how you find time to create, the struggles with having a corporate job while
dreaming of creating in a studio all day.

There are many ways to be an aritst so don't hide your art because you never went to art school or don't touch a paintbrush but once a week. We are looking for the "unofficial" artists, the people who create because they have a need.

Please submit 3 to 5 photos of your current work and your story of why you create, how you find time,
and what you call your "day job". Art in acrylic, oil, watercolor, encaustics, mixed media and ceramics will be considered.

Depending on submissions, we hope to have the show opening on Friday, March 26, 2010.
